He had a career-best 61 receptions last season. "Either I'll be here Monday or I won't be here Monday," Brown said Friday, Sept. 4. He didn't get into the game Thursday until the fourth quarter and appears no better than the team's fifth receiver. There is also the possibility the team could try to trade him instead of release him.

Brown said, "Hopefully, I'll have a good training camp and I can get back to a starting position. Maybe not, but at least having an opportunity to go out there and play."
