Head coach Wade Phillips said Barber would start the team's Week 7 game. Barber was able to take part in practice Wednesday, Oct. 21.

Tue, 20 Oct 2009 09:15:03 -0700 Calvin Watkins, of ESPNDallas.com, reports Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Tuesday, Oct. 20, during his weekly radio show that RB Tashard Choice will get more carries. RB Marion Barber III, however, will continue to start for the team. "I can tell you Barber is going to be in better shape than he was last week or two weeks ago," Jones said. "But Tashard is certainly earned and going to get a big part of the load."
