Castillo had been hoping to return by Wednesday, May 14, but now does not expect to play before the upcoming weekend. "For me, if he's not able to move around anytime soon, I think we'll put him on the DL," manager Willie Randolph said. "That's a last option, but we have to find out where he is physically."

The team is hoping to put Martinez on a schedule of pitching every five days and hope to get him into a simulated game or extended spring training game in five days. If Martinez continues to do well in his rehab, he could return as soon as early June.
