Philadelphia Phillies manager Ryne Sandberg said the team will call up "five to six" players from the minor leagues when rosters expand in September, although this number does not include rehabbing players. Decisions have been reached on which players will be promoted, although their identities were not revealed. The bulk of the additions are likely to occur Tuesday, Sept. 2, after the minor league seasons have ended.

However, Rosscup will return to the major league roster prior to the second game Saturday, because teams are allowed to carry 26 players on doubleheader days.
