Rays | Roberto Hernandez will make next start
Tampa Bay Rays manager Joe Maddon said SP Roberto Hernandez will still make his next scheduled start even though he has struggled in his last two outings. "We're just trying to figure out what the problem has been over the past couple of games. We have an idea about that. We just have to get him better in certain moments and execution of his pitches," Maddon said.
Rays | Still confident in Fernando Rodney as closer
FANTASY TIP: Rodney has struggled closing out games this season, but it appears he will be getting the next save opportunity. Owners should monitor the situation in case Maddon does decide to make a closer change in the near future. Joel Peralta could be next in line if Rodney loses his job.
Yankees | Andy Pettitte expects to return when eligible
New York Yankees SP Andy Pettitte (back) threw a bullpen session Saturday, May 25, and felt good during the session. He is scheduled to throw a simulated game Tuesday, May 28, and expects to come off the 15-day disabled list when he is eligible Saturday, June 1.
Yankees | David Phelps will try to throw bullpen session

Yankees | Hiroki Kuroda expected to make next start
New York Yankees SP Hiroki Kuroda (calf) threw a bullpen session Saturday, May 25, and was able to complete the session. Kuroda said he still feels some soreness in his calf but expects to make his next scheduled start.
Brewers | Will use closer by committee
Milwaukee Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said he does not expect to name one reliever to close while RP Jim Henderson (hamstring) is out and will use several closers depending on the matchup. Roenicke said he likes how the team is using RP John Axford and is not sure if he will use Axford to close games.
FANTASY TIP: It does not really help fantasy owners that the team has not named a replacement closer at this point. Francisco Rodriguez could be the top option for owners looking for possible saves if Roenicke is serious about not wanting to move Axford out of his current role.

Red Sox | Decision on Franklin Morales could come soon
The Boston Red Sox are expected to decide whether to bring SP Franklin Morales (back) back now and place him in the bullpen or allow him to make another rehab start and then bring him back as a starter. Manager John Farrell said that if Morales starts out in the bullpen, the team would stretch him out for around two weeks in case they want to add him back to the roster.
White Sox | Chris Sale says he will make next start
FANTASY TIP: It appears Sale will be fine for his next start unless he suffers an unexpected setback in the next few days. Owners should keep him in their starting lineup entering next week.
Cardinals | John Gast leaves game
Brewers | Jim Henderson placed on DL
FANTASY TIP: It is not known how long Henderson will be out because of his hamstring injury. John Axford and Francisco Rodriguez could be options to close out games for the team while Henderson is out. He has been hitting tosses and played catch before starting to run. He is expected to take batting practice and field ground balls next week and could even resume full baseball activities.
FANTASY TIP: It sounds like Reyes is making good progress in his return from a severely sprained ankle. He will be starting more baseball activities soon but is probably a few weeks away from returning. The team may have him go on a rehab assignment before rejoining the team.
