Cincinnati Reds manager Bryan Price wants 1B Joey Votto to tweak his approach slightly and be more aggressive at the plate. "I think what we hope is that he's able to take advantage of more of those triple counts, those times he's in a good count and maybe not quite as selective." Price said.

Chicago Bears head coach Marc Trestman said QB Jay Cutler (ankle) is still the team's starting quarterback. Cutler will have to practice in full this week in order to play in Week 15.
FANTASY TIP: Cutler has torn ligaments in the ankle, and his mobility might be limited when he returns. If Cutler is a sitting duck in the pocket, it's hard to envision him being very effective.

Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson (foot) will not need surgery on his sprained right foot, but he is unlikely to play in Week 15. He has a mid-foot sprain, and an MRI showed no damage or risk of a Lisfranc injury. Peterson still says he plans to play, but Peterson will have to spend time in a walking boot and prove he can run once he gets out of the boot.
FANTASY TIP: The Vikings have no reason to rush him back this week, or at all this season. Toby Gerhart would take over and should be owned in most formats. Hold on to Peterson, who said he wants to play and has a tendency to heal quickly. However, don't hold your breath that he returns this season.
