Green Bay Packers TE Andrew Quarless could have a full-time role as the starting tight end if the team doesn't re-sign TE Jermichael Finley. Quarless drew interest from seven other teams on the open market before re-signing with the Packers. Quarless posted career highs in catches (32), yards (312) and touchdowns (two) in 2013 and became the starter after Finley was injured Oct. 20.
FANTASY TIP: Finley is probably a long shot to return, but Green Bay has other options on the free-agent market, most notably Owen Daniels. If Quarless winds up being their starting tight end, he won't be a bad option as a TE2.

Minnesota Twins 3B Miguel Sano (elbow) had Tommy John surgery Wednesday, March 12, and he's very optimistic about his return to action later this year. "Thank God, everything went well. I think I'll be playing baseball in the fall, but I'm between playing in the Arizona Fall League or winter ball in the Dominican Republic," Sano said. He'll be working on his rehab program in Florida this summer.
