Louisville QB Teddy Bridgewater said he believes he could have done better throwing the ball at his Pro Day Monday, March 17. "Me being a perfectionist, it was nowhere near where I wanted it to be," Bridgewater said. "It's a learning process. I was able to take away something from those throws and just tell myself that, 'Hey, keep hitting the guy in the left shoulder.' Or, 'Keep hitting the guy in stride.' But, overall, I just felt I had a great day." Bridgewater ran the 40-yard dash in 4.78 seconds during his workout. Bridgewater did not throw with gloves on during the workout even though he played with gloves on this season. At least 10 of Bridgewater's passes were either drops or overthrown.

Oakland Athletics SP Scott Kazmir (triceps) was scratched from his outing Monday, March 17, with left triceps stiffness.
FANTASY TIP: This is probably nothing significant, but keep an eye on how he bounces back in the next few days. The A's can't afford to lose another starting pitcher at this point.

Oakland Athletics SP Jarrod Parker (elbow) will undergo his second Tommy John surgery March 25, and he'll likely miss the rest of the season.
FANTASY TIP: You can obviously drop Parker if you drafted him already. Tommy Milone's value just jumped significantly in AL-only leagues. Milone might not be a bad idea in deep mixed leagues for rotation depth, either.

San Diego Padres SP Joe Wieland (elbow) is dealing with soreness in the triceps area of his right elbow, and he'll fly to San Diego to meet with team doctors and undergo an MRI exam. The soreness is in the same area he had a triceps strain last year while recovering from reconstructive elbow surgery in 2012. It's in a different area than his ulnar collateral ligament. The Padres were happy with the way Wieland was throwing the ball this spring, hitting the mid-90s with his fastball.
FANTASY TIP: The good news is that this injury doesn't seem related to his Tommy John surgery. However, it could be a significant setback for Wieland and hurt his chances of cracking the rotation next season.

Atlanta Braves SP Mike Minor (shoulder) threw live batting practice Monday, March 17, and is "progressing as planned." Minor said he "felt good" after throwing.
FANTASY TIP: Minor certainly won't be ready for the start of the regular season, but at his current price, he could be a steal if he doesn't miss a ton of time. With Kris Medlen (elbow) and Brandon Beachy (elbow) both facing Tommy John surgery, Minor will be a lock to stay in the rotation all year if he's healthy.
