Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew (hamstring) will undergo an MRI exam on his right hamstring Friday, Dec. 6, after being injured in the team's Week 14 game Thursday, Dec. 5. His injury doesn't look to be serious, and he is expecting to play in Week 15 against the Buffalo Bills. He ran for a season-high 103 yards against the Houston Texans, his first 100-yard game since Week 3 of last year. Jones-Drew has 719 rushing yards this year, with 264 coming the last three weeks.
FANTASY TIP: Jones-Drew has plenty of time to heal up before the team's Week 15 game, so if the injury isn't serious as expected, he should be good to go for the Bills game. The Jags are hot, and MJD continues to have respectable showings. Continue starting him.

The Houston Astros agreed with free-agent SP Scott Feldman (Orioles) to a three-year, $30 million deal.
FANTASY TIP: Feldman is a decent AL-only pitcher and a fringe mixed-league starter. His run support will likely be non-existent, which means his win total should suffer. However, don't disregard the rest of his solid numbers. He could be a bit of a sleeper.

The Chicago Cubs believe in SS Javier Baez as a shortstop, but they'll move him around in spring training. He could be the starting second baseman by the end of June.
FANTASY TIP: Baez has big power and will be drafted in a lot of leagues. If he earns regular playing time, he could be a great mid-season addition to your fantasy team.

The New York Mets agreed with free-agent OF Curtis Granderson (Yankees) on a four-year contract.
FANTASY TIP: Granderson's value takes a hit with the move to Citi Field. He still has big power - probably not 40 homers - but 20-25 homers is more realistic. He'll likely hit in the middle of the order, somewhere behind David Wright, which should boost his RBI potential. Granderson has hit just .143 in 21 at-bats in Citi Field with one homer. However, he has been a pretty solid player on the road in his career. Look for Granderson to be a great third outfielder in fantasy.

The Seattle Mariners agreed with free-agent 2B Robinson Cano (Yankees) to a 10-year, $240 million deal.
FANTASY TIP: Cano leaves a hitter's paradise for a hitter's nightmare in Safeco Field. His power translates anywhere, though. In fact, he hit more homers on the road last season. He has hit .309 with four homers and 20 RBIs in 152 at-bats in Seattle during his career. You can expect a slight decline in power. He also has very little around him in the form of protection. Owners will have this in the backs of their minds on draft day. It's possible he'll fall in drafts because of such, but it's not a good idea to value him as an early first-round pick anymore.
