New York Jets WR Santonio Holmes (foot, hamstring) was limited in practice Thursday, Dec. 12.
FANTASY TIP: The Carolina Panthers are good at getting pressure on opposing quarterbacks, so it may be difficult for Geno Smith to have much success in this one. However, the Panthers' secondary is their weakness. Still, Holmes is a flex play, at best.

Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen (foot) was limited in practice Thursday, Dec. 12.
FANTASY TIP: Olsen's injury doesn't appear to be serious. He's a strong play as a midrange TE1 against the New York Jets in Week 15.

Despite being benched for the final three regular season games, Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III will remain the starting quarterback heading into the 2014 season. "It's ridiculous to act like this is a quarterback competition," offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan said. "Robert just had one of the best years as a rookie in NFL history. He didn't have that this year. We didn't do that again this year. To give up on him like that and say play someone else, that's fun for people to talk about but that hasn't entered my brain and it's not a possibility or option."
FANTASY TIP: You can obviously dump Griffin in single-year leagues, but hold onto him in keeper formats. Redskins coaches cite a lack of a full offseason for RG3's struggles this season. A bounce-back year could be in store in 2014.

Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy is optimistic that RB Eddie Lacy (ankle) can return in Week 15 against the Dallas Cowboys. Lacy will be re-evaluated Friday, Dec. 13.
FANTASY TIP: Lacy probably won't be worth the risk this week, since the decision on whether he plays may not come until game time. If he doesn't go, James Starks will be the lead back and could warrant a flex play against a Dallas Cowboys defense that has been overmatched mostly all season.
