Dodgers | Hanley Ramirez running Los Angeles Dodgers SS Hanley Ramirez (hamstring) is doing running drills Tuesday, May 21. FANTASY TIP: It appears as though it may be tough for Ramirez to beat his initial timetable of four weeks. There's a chance that the Dodgers shift Ramirez back to third base when he's ready to return in order to keep Dee Gordon at shortstop. Comment |

Browns | Like Jordan Cameron as starter The Cleveland Browns really like TE Jordan Cameron as their starting tight end and have been targeting him a lot in organized team activities. FANTASY TIP: Something to keep an eye on as training camps and preseason games get underway, is how the Browns tight end position plays out. If Cameron does win the starting job for his team, it would likely make him a solid TE2 in fantasy football. Comment |

Nationals | Danny Espinosa working to improve Washington Nationals 2B Danny Espinosa worked to improve his swing with hitting coach Rick Eckstein Monday, May 20, and also had a film session. Espinosa was benched again in favor of 2B Steve Lombardozzi. Espinosa has one hit in his last 28 at-bats and a triple slash line of .163/.191/.260. The team insists he's physically fine despite playing through a torn rotator cuff all of last year. His shoulder could still be playing a part, though, as his power numbers are down again. Espinosa also has a .200 batting average on balls in play, but he's hitting liners only 10.3 percent of the time, the lowest mark in the majors. His home run percentage has dropped from 13 percent in his career to 7.7 percent this year. Espinosa is swinging at more pitches and making contact with pitches outside the zone, but most of all, it looks as though he's lost the strength in his swing. The Nationals still think Espinosa gives them the best option at second base, mainly because of his defense. FANTASY TIP: Lombardozzi should be owned in most NL-only leagues as he takes playing time away from Espinosa. It's also worth noting that Anthony Rendon played second base in the minors yesterday. He could be an option to see time at the keystone later this year if Espinosa is still struggling. They aren't giving up on Espinosa, but he isn't worth a roster spot in mixed leagues at the moment. Jets | Mike Goodson to plead not guilty New York Jets RB Mike Goodson will plead not guilty to all charges, with the most serious being a second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm. If convicted, Goodson would face a minimum three-year prison sentence under the Graves Act. Goodson's defense is confident they will show that he was not in possession of the gun. Goodson also faces a third-degree possession of a loaded handgun and marijuana and paraphernalia charges. FANTASY TIP: Even if Goodson avoids serious jail time in this case, that doesn't mean that he won't be suspended for a good chunk of the season by the NFL. As a result, he's a risky handcuff option to Chris Ivory on draft day. Comment |
