Updating a previous report, Nick Piecoro, of The Arizona Republic, reports Arizona Diamondbacks SP Brandon Webb (shoulder) threw around 20-25 pitches off a mound Tuesday, Feb. 9, and will throw off a mound again either later this week or early next week before heading to Spring Training.

"(It) went good," Webb said. "(The) ball came out well, but I was just thinking about arm slot on every throw. That's to be expected, not having thrown on the mound in so long." Webb is still hoping to be ready for Opening Day.
