Cleveland Browns QB Johnny Manziel could play with QB Brian Hoyer in a two-quarterback system later in the season, according to head coach Mike Pettine. Pettine said a package for Manziel is on the table. Pettine said he didn't anticipate a platoon early in the season. Pettine also made it clear that Hoyer is on a week-to-week trial.
FANTASY TIP: Hoyer is a mid-to-low QB2, and it sounds like he must perform extremely well to hold off Manziel. Manziel is a mid-to-low QB2 with upside.

Tampa Bay Buccaners RB Doug Martin was called the team's "bell cow" running back by head coach Lovie Smith.
FANTASY TIP: Smith continues to make it clear that Martin is his main back despite wanting to rotate in other backs more often this season. Meanwhile, a shoulder injury to Mike James and ankle surgery for Charles Sims should further ensure that Martin continues to receive a heavy workload and remains a potential RB1.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Heath Miller had a team-high five catches for 53 yards, including a 27-yard touchdown reception, in the team's preseason game Thursday, Aug. 21.
FANTASY TIP: Offseason knee surgery could help Miller rebound from a rough 2013 campaign, and he should be one of Ben Roethlisberger's main targets, especially in the red zone. If you wait to draft a starting tight end, Miller could be a nice grab later in drafts.
