Philadelphia Phillies SS Jimmy Rollins will be held out of the Grapefruit League lineup Thursday, March 13, for the third straight day. Rollins is over the stomach bug that held him out recently. Manager Ryne Sandberg gave praise to SS Freddy Galvis, saying he was a positive influence in the lineup. When asked if he thought the same way about Rollins, he said "No comment."
FANTASY TIP: Interesting. Is he trying to light a fire under Rollins? Does he have an issue with J-Roll's effort? Galvis isn't anything more than NL-only filler with mild offensive potential. Rollins has been in decline but still offers midrange mixed value at his position. Any ongoing tension could jeopardize Rollins' playing time, though this may be a bold ploy by Sandberg to get more out of his veteran.

Chicago Cubs 3B Mike Olt had three hits, including two homers, with three RBI Wednesday, March 12. The vision problems he was having last year have cleared up. He's hitting .333 this spring.
FANTASY TIP: Olt is a not-so-dark horse to earn frequent, if not full-time, at-bats at third base for the Cubbies. Luis Valbuena is the platoon majority option. Emilio Bonifacio may get time there versus southpaws. Super-prospect Kris Bryant may make his way there late in the season. But the formerly touted Texas Rangers tyke could deliver post-hype power for fantasy prospectors now that he can actually see pitches.

Colorado Rockies SS Troy Tulowitzki (calf, fibula) was hit in the left leg by a pitch Wednesday, March 12, and X-rays came back negative, only with some bruising. He's day-to-day.
FANTASY TIP: He'll probably rest for at least a few days before returning to action. The injury-prone, expensive pick will often have scares like this during the season, which brings into question his first-round tag.

The Philadelphia Eagles acquired RB Darren Sproles from the New Orleans Saints for an undisclosed package.
FANTASY TIP: Sproles fits the offense well and will continue to be a good running back to own in point-per reception leagues. However, he'll be 31 next season, and he could have landed in a better spot for fantasy purposes. Sproles' presence may also limit LeSean McCoy's touches, but it should add more longevity to his career after his phenomenal, but taxing, 2013 season. Sproles should often be a good RB3 in PPR leagues, but is a RB4 or handcuff material in others. McCoy remains a stud RB1 in all formats.
