The 21-game hitting streak is the longest by a White Sox player since OF Carlos Lee had a club-record 28-game hitting streak in 2004. He has reached base in 10 straight plate appearances, the longest since Hall of Fame 1B Frank Thomas set the team mark of 15 back in 1997.

Broncos | Juwan Thompson moves up depth chart

Fri, 01 Aug 2014 22:21:13 -0700

Denver Broncos RB Juwan Thompson has moved to the front of the undrafted rookie running back pool and into the No. 4 spot on the depth chart behind RBs Montee Ball, Ronnie Hillman and C.J. Anderson. His ability in the passing game might give him a leg up in the race with RBs Kapri Bibbs and Brennan Clay.

FANTASY TIP: Thompson was a solid tailback on an overachieving Duke team in 2014 for head coach David Cutcliffe, who is very familiar with QB Peyton Manning. However, even if Thompson were able to hang on and win the No. 4 job, he would still need an injury or two to gain fantasy relevance.
