Atlanta Falcons RB Steven Jackson (hamstring) is not participating in practice Thursday, Aug. 21.
FANTASY TIP: Jackson has missed several practices because of the injury, and his status for the regular season is uncertain at this point. Devonta Freeman could receive more playing time because of Jackson's injury. Jackson will enter the season as the starter if healthy, but Freeman will get carries during the season. Updating a previous report, Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell traveled on his own for the team's third preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Bell did not travel on the team charter after he was arrested for driving under the influence and marijuana possession Wednesday, Aug. 20.
FANTASY TIP: Bell likely will face a punishment at some point because of the arrest, but it may not occur this season. Owners should still consider Bell as a starting running back that likely will start coming off the board in the second round.
