Updating a previous report, Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown restructured his contract to convert $5.2 million of his $6 million salary to a signing bonus, which freed up $3.9 million in salary cap space. It pushes that $3.9 million into equal installments of $1.3 million in additional cap accounting on Brown in the seasons of 2015, 2016 and 2017.

The New York Jets have released CB Antonio Cromartie. However, the team remains interested in re-signing him.
FANTASY TIP: One of the main reasons why Cromartie was released was because he was scheduled to earn a $5 million roster bonus later this week. His release saves $9.5 million against the salary cap this year.

Updating a previous report, Atlanta Braves SP Kris Medlen (forearm) has a strained right forearm. He will be re-evaluated Monday, March 10.
FANTASY TIP: His reaction on the mound wasn't pretty. At the very least, this puts his status for the start of the season very much in jeopardy. His departure would create an opening for David Hale, who could be useful in NL-only leagues. We don't want to spread a big cloud of negativity, but we would suggest treading carefully if drafting Medlen.

New York Jets WR Santonio Holmes is due a $1 million roster bonus Wednesday, March 12.
FANTASY TIP: There's a good chance that Holmes will be released before Wednesday to free up salary cap space, so odds are slim that he will actually receive this bonus.
