Arizona Cardinals QB Carson Palmer's (elbow) sore right elbow isn't believed to be a serious injury, and he's expected to play against the St. Louis Rams in Week 14. Palmer wasn't sharp in the team's Week 13 loss, underthrowing the ball several times on deep routes after possibly suffering the injury on the third play of the game when he was hit as he threw and fumbled. Palmer was diagnosed with a frayed ligament in his elbow in 2008 but opted not to have Tommy John surgery.
FANTASY TIP: It's possible that the injury could be worse than we imagine, but the Cardinals aren't saying much about it. Will this affect him for the rest of the year? There's no way of telling, but it'll be interesting to see how he bounces back against the St. Louis Cardinals. Assuming it's not a big deal, Palmer is a solid QB1 option this weekend.

Detroit Lions RB Reggie Bush (calf) did some very light individual work in practice Thursday, Dec. 5. Bush did not do any cutting on his injured calf in practice.
FANTASY TIP: While it can be seen as good that Bush was able to do anything at all, the idea that he was unable to do much and did not do any cutting on the injured calf is concerning. Joique Bell would carry the load if Bush can't go and could be a decent play.

The Boston Red Sox agreed to a two-year, $9.5 million deal with free-agent RP Edward Mujica (Cardinals) Thursday, Dec. 5.
FANTASY TIP: Mujica had a career year with the Cardinals last year, recording 37 saves. He'll be used solely as a setup man in Boston, however, with Koji Uehara firmly planted in the ninth-inning role.

Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson said it would be nice to play for a team in his home state of Texas if he doesn't wind up spending his entire career with the Vikings. "You know, I'd be a liar if I said it's something that hasn't crossed my mind before," Peterson said. "But I've also said to myself it would be so amazing to be one of those players who stays with one team his entire career, it would be good if I could do that. But being from Texas, I've always wondered, wow, it would be cool to play in Dallas, to play back home. Or to play in Houston."
