Saints | Fontenot Uncertain
The Times Picayune reports New Orleans Saints C Jerry Fontenot is not sure if he'll re-sign with the team. He and the Saints are far apart in salary talks. Saints officials say they want to re-sign Fontenot, but they are prepared to go in a different direction if he does not lower his salary demands. "They've said they want me back, but I'm disappointed with their first offer, their only offer so far," said Fontenot. "It's near league minimum for a veteran." Said Saints GM Mickey Loomis: "We want Jerry back, and I'll leave it at that."
