Vikings | Offer Coming For George?
Updating previous reports, the Star Tribune reports the Minnesota Vikings are close to offering a contract to free agent QB Jeff George (Seahawks). George's familiarity with the organization and his willingness to back up starting QB Daunte Culpepper have made him an attractive target. "It was good to come back and see a lot of familiar faces," George said. "We're just going to wait and see what happens. They know my feelings and I know their feelings. It's exciting."
