Packers | Rookie Anderson Earns A Starting Slot?

According to the Associated Press, Green Bay Packers rookie S Marques Anderson has earned the team's starting free safety job. Several Packers players said Anderson will replace S Matt Bowen in the lineup and start ahead of Antuan Edwards. Edwards has been out with an injury and just returned Wednesday. Defensive coordinator Ed Donatell had this to say about the lineup switch: "I don't know if that's been finalized. Antuan just returned to practice today. He was out there with a pretty big cast. I have to wait until coach Mike Sherman says as much. When Mike says so, it's a go."
