Lions | More On Schroeder

Updating earlier stories, the AP reports Detroit Lions coach Marty Mornhinweg was upset with his team Monday for too many dropped passes. The most obvious target of Mornhinweg's anger was WR Bill Schroeder. He had a terrible game against his old team, dropping three passes, including one in the end zone and one that was intercepted and run back for a touchdown. "Bill is dropping passes and he is not making plays," Mornhinweg said. "I know that he is playing hurt, and I appreciate the effort that he is making to play through it, but we need a high level of play at that position. In the next few days, I'll be making some decisions about that position. This cannot continue."
