Falcons | Roddy White excused from camp
Atlanta Falcons WR Roddy White (rest) will not participate in the team's three-day minicamp, head coach Mike Smith said Tuesday, June 17. "We just felt like he needed to get some rest," Smith said. "He worked with us four days. We wanted to see where he was at. He worked extremely hard, so we're going to give him some time and let some of these young guys work." White was also excused from a majority of OTAs last week following the death of his brother.
Fantasy Tip: White dealt with nagging injuries to his ankle and hamstring last year that resulted in one of the worst seasons of his career. If he can stay healthy this year, he should be considered a solid No. 2 fantasy WR, especially in PPR formats.
