Orioles | Dylan Bundy throws in extended spring game
Baltimore Orioles SP Dylan Bundy (elbow) gave up two home runs and was clocked at 90-92 mph while throwing 18 pitches in an extended spring game Tuesday, May 20. He's scheduled to throw another two innings Saturday, May 24, in another spring game before the team puts him on a five-day starter's schedule. "I felt great," he said. "The outcome wasn't anything I was expecting, but the main thing is my arm felt great. I didn't have any problems with that." Bundy is hoping to start pitching in the minors by the end of June.
Fantasy Tip: Bundy is the team's top pitching prospect and is coming back from Tommy John surgery. He could be an option for the rotation later this year, but don't bank on it, especially if the O's continue to play it cautious with him.
