Tigers | Max Scherzer with fine outing
Detroit Tigers SP Max Scherzer tossed six scoreless innings to get the win over the Chicago White Sox Wednesday, April 30, and he gave up four hits while striking out seven to become the first pitcher in team history with at least seven strikeouts in each of his first six starts. Scherzer also became the first pitcher in the majors to do that since San Francisco Giants SP Tim Lincecum start the 2010 season with at least six strikeouts in his first seven starts.
