NFL | Johnson Given Clean Bill of Health
WR Malcolm Johnson (knee), who played in the CFL last season, received a clean bill of health from Dr. Chris Harner on Friday. Harner is with UPMC in Pittsburgh, which is where many NFL players have rehabbed from injuries over the years. Johnson is en-route to Chicago to continue his workouts with a group of draft-eligible players. “I am well on my way to a full recovery,” Johnson confirmed to KFFL on Friday. He’s hopeful of returning to the NFL for the 2003 season. The former Steelers’ fifth-round pick has played for the Steelers, Bengals and Jets.
