Browns | New GM to hurt Brian Hoyer?
Former Cleveland Browns general manager Michael Lombardi was a big reason QB Brian Hoyer came to Cleveland in the first place. "He had a lot of faith in me, and I'll always appreciate what he did for me to a point where not a lot of people believed in me. And I'll always look to prove him right," Hoyer said. Neither new GM Ray Farmer or head coach Mike Pettine have told Hoyer their plans for him in 2014, and the team could draft a quarterback with their first-round pick. However, Pettine appears to already be a fan of Hoyer.
