Redskins | QB Notes

The Washington Post reports NFL sources said free agent QB Trent Dilfer is interested in signing with the Washington Redskins. It was not clear Tuesday whether the Redskins will pursue Dilfer when the league's free agent market opens March 1. Coach Steve Spurrier said he will invite incumbent starter Tony Banks and veteran backup Kent Graham to the team's first mini-camp next month but does not know if either will attend. The Redskins have reportedly informed QB Jeff George that they will not consider signing him. Agent Michael Sullivan said yesterday that Dilfer probably will be on the market this off-season, looking to start. Sullivan declined to comment when asked about Dilfer's potential interest in the Redskins.
