Lions | Looking to extend Ndamukong Suh long term
The Detroit Lions have started talks with DT Ndamukong Suh about a long-term extension. Suh has two years left on his rookie deal with the final year being voidable. He'll count $22.4 million against the salary cap in 2014, and it's expected to be $1 million more with him being named to the Pro Bowl. Suh could count $9.7 million against the cap in 2015 even if he walks. The Lions will likely have to make Suh among the highest paid defensive tackles in the league to keep him, however.
