Phillies | Payroll limit may have been reached
The Philadelphia Phillies are thought to be at their payroll limit of $165-170 million, depending on whether or not players are dealt away. As a result, the Phillies may look to unload players like CL Jonathan Papelbon or trade away players for every player acquired. The payroll as of now is $162 million, but arbitration raises have not been factored in.
