Patriots | Believe Rob Gronkowski tore ACL
Updating earlier reports, the New England Patriots believe TE Rob Gronkowski (knee) tore his right anterior cruciate ligament.
Fantasy Tip: He'll have an MRI to confirm it, but the initial reports suggested the torn ACL. If so, he'll miss the rest of the year. Michael Hoomanawanui (knee) is also hurt, and the team may have to go with Matthew Mulligan. The team will likely have to lean on Shane Vereen, Danny Amendola and Julian Edelman more the rest of the way. With Vereen so heavily used in the passing game, expect LeGarrette Blount and Stevan Ridley to split a chunk of the carries.
