Cardinals | Not trying to trade Larry Fitzgerald
Arizona Cardinals general manager Steve Keim said the team isn't trying to trade WR Larry Fitzgerald this year despite reports Sunday, Oct. 27, that the team could trade him after this season. "I can tell you two things, and I want to make this clear and simple -- I have not had one conversation with another NFL team regarding a trade with Larry Fitzgerald," Keim said. Fitzgerald will count $18 million against the salary cap next year while earning $13 million, and he's under contract until 2017. His cap hit will increase again in 2015 to $21.25 million but then drops to $18.25 million in 2016 and $15 million in 2017.
