Giants | David Wilson could miss multiple games
Updating a previous report, New York Giants RB David Wilson (neck) will seek a second opinion on his neck injury Monday, Oct. 14, in Los Angeles. An NFL source said his injury is "disc-related", and another source familiar with the injury said the team believes Wilson will likely be out several weeks. The team plays Thursday, and then they do not play again until Monday, Oct. 21, in Week 7. With the team's bye in Week 9, the Giants will play just twice in the next 30 days.
Fantasy Tip: Brandon Jacobs is expected to start, and he will likely split carries with Da'Rel Scott. Jacobs is best used as an RB3 or flex play in most fantasy leagues Thursday against the Chicago Bears, as they allow just 97.8 yards per game on the ground.
