Giants | Brandon Jacobs could cut into David Wilson's time
New York Giants RB Brandon Jacobs was brought in because of his familiarity with the club's offense. He will be used to mentor RB David Wilson and could take his place on passing downs and near the goal line.
Fantasy Tip: Wilson's fumblitis has once again put him in Tom Coughlin's doghouse to start the season. Problem is, the G-Men don't have much depth at running back. Wilson, in the long term, should remain the team's main rusher, but the presence of Jacobs tempers his value some. Wilson should be seen as a weak No. 2 RB or flex play. Jacobs, depending on how they use him and how much juice he has left in his legs, could be a waiver wire addition in deeper leagues.
