Eagles | Chip Kelly not satisfied with offense
Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly thinks his offense needs to be faster and quicker than what it was in their Week 1 win over the Washington Redskins. "We left the ball on the ground too much. We didn't get the ball to the officials. We could have sped things up from a process in between plays. That's something we need to work on," he said. The Eagles ran 53 plays in the first half alone and gained 322 total yards. However, they ran only 24 offensive plays in the second half. Redskins LB Brian Orakpo said their defense made an adjustment in the second half to put more players in the box and avoid being spread out by the Eagles' offense. Kelly said the difference in the first and second half had more to do with his management of the game.
