Mets | David Wright still hoping to return
New York Mets 3B David Wright (hamstring) is still holding out hope that he will return this season. "I don't think the clock is going to run out," said Wright, who has been on the disabled list since Aug. 3 with a Grade 2 hamstring strain. "I think I'll be back at least for a larger chunk of the remainder of the games. That's kind of the goal, and I haven't really even thought about not playing those." He has done all baseball activities except for running the bases. Wright won't play in playoff games with Low Single-A Savannah this week, however.
Fantasy Tip: Wright might return for the final week of the season, but that is purely speculation at this point. Don't get your hopes up.
