Yankees | Derek Jeter out indefinitely

New York Yankees SS Derek Jeter (ankle) is out indefinitely after reinjuring his surgically repaired left ankle. "His ankle is a little sore, so we are probably going to give him a couple of days and make an evaluation," manager Joe Girardi said. Girardi isn't sure that Jeter will play again this year with only three weeks left in the season. SS Eduardo Nunez will play shortstop in Jeter's absence.

Fantasy Tip: Don't rely on Jeter for the rest of the season. Nunez is a nice commodity in deep mixed leagues for the remainder of the year if Jeter does not return.
