Mets | Matt Harvey consults Roy Halladay
New York Mets SP Matt Harvey (elbow) spoke with Philadelphia Phillies SP Roy Halladay on Tuesday, Aug. 27, according to Mets general manager Sandy Alderson. Halladay tore his ulnar collateral ligament approximately 10 years ago and didn't have surgery to repair it.
Fantasy Tip: And things turned out OK for the Doc for a while. Harvey is hoping to return from the same injury, although the severity of the Mets ace's injury compared to Halladay's 10 years ago isn't clear. There is precedent, but surgery remains a good possibility. Harvey has vowed to rehab and be ready for the Mets' season opener in 2014, for what it's worth.
