Texans | Arian Foster expected to be ready

Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak fully expects RB Arian Foster (back) to be ready for the season opener Sept. 9 against the San Diego Chargers. Foster was unable to practice Monday, Aug. 19. "Yes I am because I watch him work," Kubiak said. "I've been watching him. He's basically going through practices or has been since we've been in camp on his own with Jeff. Obviously, there's been a little setback as we try to get some soreness out of him. But from what I've seen, yes. It's not like he's been standing around for the last three weeks. Obviously, we want to get him back out here as quick as I can."

Fantasy Tip: Foster is becoming increasingly risky in the first half of Round 1 in fantasy football drafts. If you take him, it would be a smart plan to try and handcuff him to Ben Tate, who would see considerable work if Foster is dinged up in the regular season.
