Mets | Wilmer Flores could be regular at 2B
New York Mets manager Terry Collins said 2B Wilmer Flores could start at second base with 3B David Wright (hamstring) on the disabled list, moving 2B Daniel Murphy to the hot corner. However, the team's bench is at full strength now, so Flores might just be used at third base. Flores played second and third base last year in the minors before playing almost exclusively at second base this year for Triple-A Las Vegas.
Fantasy Tip: Regardless, Flores will likely be starting every day for the Mets with Wright sidelined for at least the next month. That makes him deserving of immediate addition in NL-only leagues. Consider it in deep mixed leagues. If he plays third base, that'll make him more attractive.
