Patriots | Rob Gronkowski likely to begin season on PUP
New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (forearm, back) could be ready for Week 1, but the most likely scenario is he is kept on the Physically Unable to Perform list and misses the first six games.
Fantasy Tip: The team isn't speculating on when he'll be back, and he is in camp in street clothes. It appears there's a very real chance that he'll miss the first six games. He's being drafted pretty highly still, and this is something you'll need to take into consideration. He has the ability to put up great numbers that trump most tight ends, and it's a muddy position this year. After Jimmy Graham and Gronk, there is a lot of uncertainty. Due to that uncertainty and the large amount of tight ends in that mediocre tier, you can grab a second tight end in the middle rounds pretty easily. We strongly suggest doing so if you own Gronkowski. Gronk is the epitome of a boom or bust pick this season.
