Jaguars | Maurice Jones-Drew able to practice
Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew (foot) participated in practice Friday, July 26, and did not have any problems with his surgically repaired foot. He said he feels good but knows he has to get to the point where he can carry the ball 20 to 25 times. Jones-Drew received about 12 repetitions during practice. Head coach Gus Bradley said the team will monitor his reps but want to see him cut and catch some passes during practice.
Fantasy Tip: This is a good first step for Jones-Drew to prepare for the regular season. He will continue to get a majority of the carries for the Jaguars, but his durability is now in question, making him a low-end No. 1 RB in our eyes.
