Royals | No concussion for Alex Gordon
After taking league-mandated concussion tests, Kansas City Royals OF Alex Gordon (concussion, hip) isn't dealing with a concussion and is being listed as day-to-day. He believes he'll be able to play Friday, July 5, but that's unlikely to happen. "They said I was cleared to go," Gordon said. "They did all the tests, followed all the rules and they cleared me to go. So I'm just going to get back into action here today and hopefully get things rolling." He won't be placed on the 7-day disabled list for concussions. Gordon is also dealing with a bruise on his hip that has left him sore.
Fantasy Tip: Expect Gordon to return to the lineup Saturday. Be prepared to get him back into your starting lineups.
