Braves | Jordan Schafer making ABs count
Atlanta Braves OF Jordan Schafer had two hits, including a game-tying RBI double to go along with his team-high ninth stolen base, on Tuesday, June 25. He's hit .341 (29-for-85) with 10 extra-base hits (three home runs), a .391 OBP and a .553 slugging percentage in his last 24 games. He should be in the lineup on Wednesday, June 26, for a fourth straight game because the Braves are at the Kansas City Royals and will get to use a DH again.
Fantasy Tip: Schafer has performed well for most of the season as a reserve. There are encouraging signs that the once heralded prospect is starting to get it now that he's back for a second go-round with the organization that raised him. When Evan Gattis returns from the DL, PT will be that much tougher to come by, but Schafer would probably be an asset were an injury or two occur to the team's top outfielders.
