Nationals | Bryce Harper visit details
Washington Nationals head trainer Lee Kuntz said OF Bryce Harper (knee) had a platelet-rich plasma injection and a cortisone shot in his knee's bursa sac during his visit with Dr. James Andrews. Andrews agreed with the initial diagnosis of patella bursitis and the Nats' course of treatment. The plan is for Harper to rest for a week then be re-evaluated by doctors.
Fantasy Tip: Such treatments have aided the speed of recovery, so it's OK to take a more optimistic viewpoint on his timetable, which could bring his return sometime in the next few weeks.
