Indians | Asdrubal Cabrera might miss a month
Updating a previous report, Cleveland Indians SS Asdrubal Cabrera (quadriceps) might be sidelined for at least the next month due to a strained right quadriceps. Cabrera had an MRI Tuesday, June 4. "He got scanned and, as expected, he did some damage in there," manager Terry Francona said. Francona did not speculate how long Cabrera will be sidelined, but did say the medical staff indicated that similar quadriceps injuries have required three to four weeks of recovery time.
Fantasy Tip: With Cabrera on the shelf, Mike Aviles is expected to serve as the team's regular starting shortstop with Juan Diaz serving as a bench player. Aviles should be added in all AL-only leagues and some deeper mixed formats due to his regular at-bats and positional versatility.
