Browns | Barkevious Mingo on
Cleveland Browns OLB Barkevious Mingo has been working with the second-team defense in minicamp. ESPNCleveland.com writer Tony Grossi is under the impression that the team will follow the model the San Francisco 49ers utilized with OLB Aldon Smith, who made no starts as a rookie in 2011 but recorded 14 sacks. The Browns apparently don't care to rush Mingo's transition from 4-3 defensive end to 3-4 rush linebacker, especially because of the depth they've accumulated at the position. Mingo's primary responsibilities look to be in the pass rush and some special teams for now.
Fantasy Tip: Mingo doesn't shape up as a great IDP target in his first NFL season, although he could be worth a waiver claim if his role expands.
