White Sox | Jake Peavy open to trade
Chicago White Sox SP Jake Peavy said he wants to spend the rest of his career with the White Sox, but he's also open to the possibility of being traded. "If we're not in it, I have no problems being moved to a team who is in contention and trying to win a World Series, so I'll go play anywhere," Peavy said. "If it comes down to having and feeling like it's best for them to move me, I'll go play anywhere that feels like they have a chance." Peavy doesn't have a no-trade clause in his contract. He signed a two-year deal with an option for the 2015 season last winter.
Fantasy Tip: Peavy is having another solid season now that he's two years removed from a serious shoulder injury. Depending on where he lands this summer if he's traded, his value could increase even more.
