Red Sox | Jackie Bradley ready for return?

Boston Red Sox OF Jackie Bradley is a candidate for promotion, according to manager John Farrell. Bradley entered play Tuesday, May 28, on an 11-game hitting streak in which he's hitting .455 (20-for-44) with a triple, two home runs, 11 runs scored and six RBIs with Triple-A Pawtucket. He has a slash line of .360/.461/.547 at Class AAA. "Once he got past the shoulder tendinitis, he got back on the field much like we saw in spring training with his defense," Farrell said. "Two good plays last night. He doubled off a guy with a throw. Threw out another runner. He hit a home run and double last night. He's been swinging the bat very well." Bradley has been playing all three outfield positions.

Fantasy Tip: Bradley disappointed overzealous fantasy owners who put faith in him to start the year. Should Bradley return soon, you might be able to take advantage of it if most of your league mates have soured on him. Playing time is the biggest issue, though, even with Shane Victorino (hamstring) on the DL. If Bradley sees enough at-bats, though, he should be considered in all formats.
