Cubs | Edwin Jackson to remain in rotation

Chicago Cubs manager Dale Sveum doesn't have any intentions of removing SP Edwin Jackson from the starting rotation despite a 1-7 record and a 6.11 ERA this year. "No, we're going to stick with him," Sveum said. "It's a long season. There's still another 20-plus starts here to fix this and get it going."

Fantasy Tip: Jackson's four-year deal gives him more rope to stay in the starting rotation, but Sveum effectively challenged Jackson to make some adjustments in order to become more successful. He shouldn't be relied on in shallow leagues and should probably be benched, if not dropped outright, in deep mixed leagues right now.
