Jets | Mike Goodson to plead not guilty
New York Jets RB Mike Goodson will plead not guilty to all charges, with the most serious being a second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm. If convicted, Goodson would face a minimum three-year prison sentence under the Graves Act. Goodson's defense is confident they will show that he was not in possession of the gun. Goodson also faces a third-degree possession of a loaded handgun and marijuana and paraphernalia charges.
Fantasy Tip: Even if Goodson avoids serious jail time in this case, that doesn't mean that he won't be suspended for a good chunk of the season by the NFL. As a result, he's a risky handcuff option to Chris Ivory on draft day.
